Anyone Care To Try Building This?

This is the central ship from my book. Even thinking how to start building a model of this.

Nah, we understand.
But with just a few members, you might not get your request that quickly.
Have some patience, or design another ship :P

It's a very nice design, very nineteenfiftees :) . But it would be a real challenge, building that. You might want to search for someone with a Vacform machine, (and someone who can make masters), because I doubt it can be made from existing parts.

The Drive Nacels I have figured out. The main body looks like a container for a feminine hygene product. the front section with its dish-on-a-tappered-tube combo wil be the tricky part.

This is the section I want to find first.

Afbeelding I think it is 6 to 8 inches long and ... Any ideas?

Can't you use one of revell's zeppelin for that main body? They do two of those: the Hindenburg and the Zeppelin NT, which might be better for your project because it's smooth, instead of the ribbed surface that the Hindenburg has. It is HUGE though! :D

I'm thinking the ship is well over 600 feet long so a zeppelin might work out well for the main body. I think 1/24th scale might not work too well with me living in a small apartment!
I'm thinking of using tinted transparent marker caps inside jet plane engines on the drive nacels. Lighted? I'd need a rapidly pulsing light for the Particle Pulse drive.
Wingspan on the main section? Math is not my friend! The engines are set out to clear the huge tanks of water the ship tows and to effect minor course changes by changing thrust rates side to side from engine to engine.
